FRA has eight standing committees. They
include the Executive Committee,
composed of the Executive Board; the Council Development
Committee,
composed of the District Directors and the IRA Coordinator; and six
other committees that
are divided into two categories: Organization
Committees (Administrative,
Membership, and Program)
and Project Committees
(Governmental Relations, Studies
and Research, and Publicity
& Publications). Each member of the
board actively participates on at
least two committees at each board meeting and throughout the
year. The following is a
listing of some of the committees general charges. Each year
specific charges are
added, based on the goals of the president.
1. Executive Committee a. Prepare the annual budget. b. Supervise and review the work of all committees.
